Other Ministerial Staff
Co-Pastor Michael Brown is the other half to Senior Pastor, Catherine Brown. They have three children and like board games. Interesting fact: Pastors Michael and Catherine were married on Valentine's Day. (Sweet!)
Youth Pastor Valita Brown joined the Brown family almost two decades ago when she married founder and pastor of In God I Trust Ministries, Allen W. Brown. She is the director of God's Young Disciples, or GYD.
Associate Pastor Jordan Brown has taught and studied God's Word for many decades. He shares this love for God's word with his wife and Mother of the Church, Dianne Brown. Mother Brown is top administrator for ELCM.
Allen W. Brown is an evangelist and preacher at ELCM. He is married to Youth Pastor Valita, and they have an elementary aged son, Daniel. The Lord gave Allen a vision of a ministry branching from ELCM, and In God I Trust Ministries (I.G.I.T.) was born. Allen is also a Christian Rapper, his last album coming out a few months ago, "19."
Apostle Joseph McKnight has roots in several different states, so ELCM is blessed to have such wise counsel come to us in Virginia. Apostle McKnight has been given many gifts by God, including dream interpreter and prophesier. He blesses all who cross his path.
Brenda Jones manages ELCM's Hope Community Center. She exhibits the love and compassion of Jesus to all she meets. Ms. Brenda's smiles and hugs are always waiting for "her children", which is all of us!
Calvin Brown is ELCM's Treasurer, but that's only one of his jobs. Calvin's heart has a lot of love to spread; he has been in the nursing field over 20 years at a local facility. Fun fact: Calvin is a twin!
Julie Horton is the new kid on the block. She joined ELCM about three years ago and found unconditional love and acceptance. She teaches from the pulpit a few times each year. She and her husband have three grown children and two spoiled dogs.
